Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Affirmation: I am a gateway for Heaven's reality to take over every part of my life, and the lives of people who I influence.

You attempt to move forward but you encounter resistance in the form of theft, losses, disputes, and opposition. The key to breakthrough is to not argue but adjust your plans and stay moving. You will discover room for your gifts and callings and God will reaffirm your calling, making your destiny clear. - Doug Addison

There are divine connections that needs to be made with others that are essential for all of us to be released into our ultimate purpose. - Rick Joyner

The heart of prayer is to connect with God and communicate with Him. Whereas, the heart of intercession is to bear someone else's burden. - T. A. Lewis
"Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2

As we receive fresh divine revelation we are empowered to use that revelation as a key for breakthrough. - Sandie Freed

Affirmation: I cry out day and night for the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

Each aspect of our spiritual life experience should be of such quality that the impartation of the substance of the "Word," which we receive into our spirit, will find both fulfillment and expression through us -- the Word becoming a personal reality within us, that can be "seen and handled" by all those who surround us (1 John 1:1,3). - Wade Taylor

Every truly born again child of God is given the faculty of spiritual hearing. We seek to hear what the Lord has to say to us. Are we going to hear that voice and obey? -- T. Austin-Sparks

"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith." - Revelation 2:7

To be ever present with Him is to be acutely aware in every moment that He is in us and we are in Him. Out of that present awareness, that place of oneness, we will see change in ourselves, as well as in the atmosphere around us. We will begin to flow from His boundaries and borders, and not be limited any longer to our old mindsets. - JoAnn McFatter

There is no enemy more wicked or troublesome to the soul than yourself. It is because you are unwilling to yield your will to that of others, that you are still full of self-love. -- Thomas a Kempis

Affirmation: I must dig my own well. I must go deeper. I must have my own revelation from the Father of who Jesus is.

Is He the One sitting on the right hand of Majesty on high, or is He a Jesus that we have made more in the image of ourselves and still call Lord? If we desire a worldly lifestyle, which is against the flow of God's authority, we can have it by subconsciously serving "our Jesus" -- a subtle deception. - John Bevere

The Holy Spirit wants to use your life to manifest, prove, and confirm the reality of the unseen realm. - Keith Miller

God did not intend the body to relate to the spiritual or supernatural world. Our five senses are all related to the natural, physical world. God never intended man to be controlled or limited by his physical body. You were not created to be intimidated by your environment. - Myles Munroe

"Encourage one another and build each other up." - 1 Thessalonians 5:1

When a materialist encounters spiritual things, he has no box in which to put them. He either has to ignore them completely or explain them by natural means, like the bystanders who said God's voice was simply thunder (John 12, 28,29). - Bill Johnson
