Bergen County - housing prices still falling ( a bit)

Posted 01-16-2013 at 06:03 AM by BuyingBergen

Wanted to share that although sales activity is way up in Bergen County in 2012 from 2011 (up 24%), prices are still falling overall about -5% from 2011. (NJMLS data)
Coupled with mortgage rates this is a great time to buy a home or move up.
Some towns are falling faster than others and in the lower price ranges things go fast so be prepared and have everything lined up when you start looking!

On the flip side, rental prices are going up so way carefully what makes sense for you! http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/b...alculator.html
