Going to church, reading the bible, listening to Christian music will not advance your spiritual life. These activities may give you more understanding but until you are ready to lay down your life and take up your cross this leads nowhere.

What I am talking about is the sacrifice of self to advance the cause of Jesus Christ in the world. There is a destiny that God had for each of us that only we can personally discover. We can discover it only by detaching from the world and making ourselves available for the Holy Spirit. By detaching from the world--now you have time--the commodity that most Christians are not willing to give.

Jesus said, "Self-help is not help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, to finding yourself, your true self. (Matthew 16:25)

"God has planted eternity in the human heart." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

"Anyone who lets himself be distracted from the work I plan for him is not fit for the Kingdom of God." (Luke 9:62)

"The most important thing is that I complete my mission, the work that the Lord Jesus gave me." (Acts 20:24)

"We have been sent to speak for Christ." (2 Corinthians 5:20)

"We are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." (Ephesians 2:10)

Affirmation: I come into agreement with the Father to release me into the things He has predestined me for since before the beginning of the world.

It is High time to humble ourselves and press into God. Today is indeed the moment, hour, and day of Salvation! Christ in us is indeed the hope of God's glory. Now is our transformation time to transition into God's plan (our destiny) for Kingdom multiplication on earth. - John Mark Pool

Praying sets him who prays to "walk circumspectly, redeeming the time"; enables him to "walk worthy of the vocation (destiny) wherewith he is called with all lowliness and meekness." - E. M. Bounds

"Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, making the most of the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is." - Ephesians 5:15,16

Fire! Ours is a gospel of fire. Fire in men and women means energy, excitement, zest. The disciples had a positive, living faith, plus a pulsating energy that made them want to go. They burned with eagerness and love. -- Reinhard Bonnke

The word "redemption" comes from the Hebrew word "to tear loose and to rescue." That's what we do! We rip the person out of the hold of sin and rescue them. -- Sean Smith

Affirmation: The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.

When we harbor unforgiveness we are continuing to allow the person we won't or "can't" forgive, to control us -- we can't learn to live entirely in the present because we are not yet finished with the pain of the past. In forgiving our abusers, we take back the power that God intends for all humans to have -- the power to choose to live wholly for Christ. - Mark Johnson

How desperate are you for God? Do you thirst or hunger for Him, for His presence? - Keith Miller
"My soul THIRSTS for you, my flesh LONGS for you in a dry and thirsty land where there is not water." - Psalm 63:1

If we're going to have the glory of the Lord dwell with us, we're going to have to take action and go after the Lord's presence just like King David and Solomon went after the ark of the covenant. - Ryan Wyatt

The keys to moving higher is our ability to endure and our level of true godly brokenness over what grieves the heart of God. As we face and take down our Goliaths, we will be positioned before the Lord for increase, multiplication and fruitfullness. - Matt Sorger

Affirmation: I operate in the kind of faith that receives victory and maintains that victory since I hold fast to my believing and confessing.

The manner in which He leads us into battle can vary. It could be through speaking the Word, praying strong in the Spirit, or even through strong praise (as in the case of Jehoshaphat and the armies of Israel in 2 Chronicles 20:20-24) - John Bevere

Do not listen to the voice that suggests that you live for yourself. The voice of self-love is even more powerful that tne voice of the serpent. -- Francois Fenelon

None is sufficient in himself; none is wise in himself; therefore we must help, teach (disciple), and advise one another. - Thomas a Kempis

"Give yourselves to God,as those who have been brought from death to life, & surrender your whole being to Him to be used for righteous purposes." - Romans 6:13

God is never short on words, never short on direction for us, never wanting to be far from us "in our thinking" because the reality is that He never is far from us. He is always inside of us. - John Belt
