You don't need to read Book I to link to Book II.
Another good book from James Boedeker. It's a quick read with a good story. Sets up well for Book III and possibly a spinoff for Mike Towery. James doesn't do warm and fuzzy, but hard and fast with a bit of softie mixed in. Book II has enough to make you go back and buy Book I and look forward to Book III.
Every author has to start somewhere and that somewhere is usually as an unknown. I don't think Boedeker is going to be an unknown author for very long.
