….. I thought about this poem when I saw a recipe for a perfect Deviled Egg.
If one likes boiled eggs, it is the easiest of all foods to jazz up. Whether one egg or 1000 the directions are the same.
Boil the egg. Remove the shell. Cut it in half. Remove the yolk. Place the boiled egg white on a plate. You can buy an egg plate at walmart.
Mash the yolk with a fork very well. Add to taste: mayo, or salad dressing, salt, and pepper. Mix it, stuff it in the empty egg white, and dust the top with a little paprika. Eat it hot or cold. It doesn't matter. (I personally like Light Miracle Whip.)
What does matter is knowing that mayo and salad dressings can quickly become rancid in the summer; it will make you sick. If you are going to take it to a picnic keep it cool. A plate in a closed cooler with a little ice is all you need. The eggs will disappear before the ice melts.
One of the directions I read said to put the egg mixture in a zip bag and cut out a corner. Here is an old decorators trick that is easier and cheaper.
Tear off a piece of waxed paper. Roll it into a cone shape. Fill it with the yolk mixture and cut off the tip of he cone. Throw the paper away when you're done.
Believe it or not the waxed paper cone can be used to decorate cakes. All you need is the metal tip and frosting.
Life is too short to obsess over the perfect size zip bag. If you are going to make a large quantity of these eggs, in the long run it is smarter to buy a pastry bag. It will wash and dry very nicely, and last a long time.

When McCain gave his farewell speech to his supporters in Arizona there wasn't a dry eye under the age of 65. It wasn't women who were weeping. It was the old white men like him.
The current thinking is IF only big Red invested more money in digital technology to play catch up the them they will win in 2016. The fundamental problem is not the Internet.
It is the center. First they strayed from the center. Then they let the fringe influence common cense. Then they put up guys who couldn't win a bet let alone the people.
How many real women voted for the guy who [1] applied for a marriage license for wife #3 when he was still married to wifey #2?
[2] How many women voted for the guy who thought abortions should be performed by a kid who washed out of medical school and worked in dirty conditions at his back alley office? No Park Avenue for you girls.. [3] How many Americans voted for the brainiac who pocketed $22K for every employee that was fired or lost their job at the place his company forced into bankruptcy?
Maybe you were among the 47%? You were too lazy to work.You took food stamps to feed your family. You used a KidsCare card because your baby was sick. You took your kid to WIC for a regular check up. Maybe you went to a food pantry?
Your parents get Social Security that pays for Medicare Part B?
Big Red has a solution for social services. END IT!
You do not need it and neither do your parents. Go to work.It is your obligation to support your family, and your parents -- after all they supported you.
The only people who dream up schemes like this NEVER had to live it. Those who did, were in the trenches and know something about real life.
I hate politics.
