So!
Let's talk about lifestyle.
It can be eating, exercise, style, sex, social life, workplace, etc.
Eat healthy? Check.
Exercise? Check.
Style? Check...obviously;p
Sex? Yum. It's good, but at the right time, place and with the right person.
Forget about the rest on the checklist! Let's talk about love! What do you think LOVE is?

Love is the understanding and a deep personal relationship with that person you care deeply enough to spend the rest of your life with.
The calling of glands is nothing but lust, that can be satisfied within a short time, and is not with us forever, (even viagra cant keep it going forever LOL).
Maybe its caring for a person whom you have loved enough, to know when its time to settle down and learn to look into each others soul, for that part that your missing and reaching out to grasp it and hold it til you never want the person to leave you, as they have become a part of you and its like ripping out your own soul should they depart.
Just my two cents worth, for what its worth...
I wish you well...

Than why cant it be mutual?

Simply because, you cant dictate what other people think.
Whats 'right' for you, maynot be 'right' for that someone whom you want to spend the rest of your life with.
You may not exactly 'fit the bill' for him, her, or whomever, and they may leave you for that special some one who 'fits' thier needs and wants and desires.
Just because 'you' think that they should do this or that, doesnt meant that 'they' think it, or are willing to do it, and has other ideas on the matter.
Its compromise all the way, on this street to happiness, and mutual understandings that love must flow both ways, and come to the ultimate culmination of the flow and rhythm of the language you both are speaking and following.
And I have a terrible habit of just rambling on, so I will cease my diatribe
I wish you well...
