Why Haven't I Simply Killed You Yet?

Have you ever noticed how people like to totally forego LISTENING just so they can have an opportunity to be smarmy about something?



My post elsewhere regarding breakfast this morning:


There are days on occasion where everything goes wrong and one is rushed out of the house with no breakfast and very little time. This was the case today when [blah blah blah, insert story about poor service at a local fast-food place].


And then there's the reply from another poster:


You know, instead of eating at those places you should be making your own breakfast at home. That stuff is bad for you [description of what goes into it] and supermarkets sell everything you'd need to make your OWN. You should probably try doing that instead of complaining about poor service in a fast food place. Just sayin'...



I sometimes wish I could type more slowly so these folks would be able to keep up.
