RE K-8 It's not good news folks;

St. John's is likely the best on island but they have their issues too.
1. 11K per kid per year
2. bullying
3. run down facilities
4. Stateside average certified teachers
5. 1:15 class size
6. 85% Korean
7. Strong academics - lots of homework even in Kindergarten.
8. No cafeteria
9. Most like stateside schools

St. Anthony, Bishop other Mercy Sister run Catholic Schools from the PI.
1. Large class sizes
2. Not necessary certified teachers
3. No recess, real art or music
4. They not only sell but push candy, sugar drinks, etc. on kids all the time
5. Endless fundraising
6. Barely average academics
7. Moat teachers from PI - sometimes very hard to understand and general cultural differences
8. affordable, 4K per kid of 6K for a family,
9. clean facilities nice gym,
10. caring staff - to the kids

Harvest:
Very nice facility (for Guam)
1. Bob Jones curriculum (ie Bible thumping fundamental)
2. no real science taught
3. Not super convenient to get to and from
4. Mid priced $5500.00 per kid per yr.
5. Supposedly decent academics - once all the biblical stuff is done
6. Decent athletics I hear
7. Mostly, young white newly graduated teachers who treat coming here like mission work.
8. Kids generally like it
