I should be having a very busyday today but as of yet the only thing I have accomplished is feeding the critters, giving them fresh water, taking a shower, making a couple cups of coffee, having breakfast and writing a check for a debt that I overlooked. For the record the debt is a one time deal and was not included in the debt free group and it is not a monthly necessity debt either.

We have a motor home that we bought a few months ago and we rent so we asked the landlord if they would mind installing a 30amp plug on the outside of their garage so we can keep our motor home plugged in at all times. We told them we would pay for the plug to be installed and they agreed so that is the one time charge.

We are still debt free but I have seriously started looking for a newer vehicle as well as empty lots back home in Illinois. By the time we find both we will have saved enough to pay cash for both so we will continue to be debt free. The transition I am starting to make right now is getting all monthly necessities due date the week of the 15th and I am going to put everything I can on a credit card and have no automatic payments taken out of my checking account any longer. That will start on September 1, 2012. That way I have one payment to make online to the credit card company for all of our monthly necessities and one check to write for the rent. Talk about easier keeping of the books. I am looking forward to this situation very much.

I am going to try my best to get the older bank books finished up today meaning, I am scanning all old banking documents and I have a new banking program that I am inputting all transactions into. Since I have more than 3 accounts and I am going back to 2005 as far as my documents go, I have a lot of inputting left to do. I know I won't get it all done today though. The plan is to input one month then start and finish a household chore, then input the next month and start and finish another household chore. It is going to take longer to do both however, it will keep me doing both because it will break up the tediousness of each task I am wanting to complete. The first month I have to input yet on the banking information is April 2006, well part of April so I will finish up April and get May 2006 input as well then go and get the dishes done and that starts my inputting chore accomplishing tasks for today.

Since this is going to take me well into the evening hours I will in theory be busy working the rest of the day. Knowing myself very well though I know that I will take a break when I get hungry or want more coffee or to let the dog outside or just to take a break from both tasks but at the end of the day I will have more accomplished than not working on either at all so it will balance itself out with no problem.

Sneakers is going to be home this weekend as well and I have a long list of things that he needs to get accomplished while he is home. Then Tuesday the truck goes into the shop for a few days so Sneakers will actually be home almost an entire week this time. It certainly proves to be interesting when he is home more than a few days at a time since we spend so little time together. It sometimes can feel a bit crowded in our home but it is an adjustment for us both since we both spend so much time alone because he is gone working so much. Then of course right about the time we have adjusted to his being home and the routine changing a wee bit to him being home it is time for him to leave again. Oh well, such is our life together.

He is so far enjoying the iPad and being able to FaceTime with me on the iPad. Already we have had a couple incidents that were just funny and I have "met" a few of the people he sees often while he is gone working so the monetary investment has already been worth it.

It is a wee bit after noon at the moment and I really do need to get my work day started before I change my mind so I wish you all many blessings (if you believe) and a most pleasant and relaxing Holiday Weekend coming up.

I Like You! You sound like me! I tried to befriend you, but couldn't. You responded to my post about Lexington, and since you were from IA thought I'dew look you up! I think you are someone I would like to know.
