Keeping the Big Picture in View

Posted 08-20-2012 at 08:00 AM by LookinForMayberry

I can drill into the tiniest bit of detail until I am thinking the whole universe is reflected in that iota of light or darkness. Deep caverns of blackness or light exist when one pinpoints the details. I have to recall that it is a big world -- universe -- collection of universes.

How GREAT Thou Art.

Light and darkness combine into so many degrees of light and darkness to form pictures of being that only God can understand because our individual perspectives are too narrow.

Only by sharing and exchanging our views with each other in a non-confrontational way can we start to understand the view that God recognizes at a glance. Even then our collective understanding is imperfect.

Thus, I trust in the wisdom of God. I understand that despite the existence of evil in our world, it is a temporary phenomena that originates in human ignorance and will eventually be dispelled. Life is abundant and everlasting and will outlast all our errors.

Praise God on high for always giving us a second chance to rise above our tiny selves and reach higher.

God bless us all, for we know not, but we (hopefully) continue to learn.

Amen.
