Nancy, your Mom and my Wife and Daughter made the trip to Ashtabula a few days ago, and had a wonderful time up there.
Doris got to meet all the Neices and Nephews, and Great and Great Greats I reckon by now , (no, we wont mention her age at this stage in the game LOL)...

They left out of here about 9:30am and got back about 8:30pm or so, so everyone had a Great Time. I put on FaceBook that I dont do stairs well, nor do I go a long way, with walking yet, so I will have to forego any near future excursions up that a way...
Course, if they want to run the kids by the car, while I sit in it, and pass me a burger and a diet pepsi, then I will be happy to just stop by and meet and greet everyone and drive on by afterwards ROTFLOL-->HEY, I can amuse myself in whimsical thoughts and notions !!

Your Mom and my Wife went to see Carrol.
They have been trying for two days to get ahold of her, so, they just decided today to drive over there and see if they can knock on the door and hope she will answer it.
Yes, they know what condition she is in, and, believe it or not, Carrol is getting around a bit better now, after all the tinker toys in her legs have settled in, or should I put that, all the tinker toys that have held together her legs have settled in?? Seems a might bit painful to me, having all those nuts and bolts and steel rods and who knows what else they put in there, besides the kitchen sink, (reason her plumbing leaks??? OK, I will lay off the jokes, but, I have to amuse myself some way, dont I??? LOL).

The Boss from the Electrical Store next to me, walked over to chat for a spell... He still has a hard time believing that the picture on the wall is me, in my former days as a Marine... Course, with me in such an obese form, its hard for me to believe that too.... sheesh! Im working on two years to go, til I get down to a reasonable weight...
Ive lost 17 pounds in water weight so far, but, my hands and legs are still swelled up a lot, so I still have a lot of water weight to go, to get out of my tissues.

Though, I am able to get in and out of the car easier, losing that water weight, and I can lift my legs also, where before I had one heckova time doing it..so I can walk just a wee bit further too. (long as I walk, and with pain meds, I dont feel the pain in my back as much Some day, I want to do it with out pain meds...Two years from now, perhaps?? I think I will give that one three years, cause I dont know what this water weight is going to do to me in the near future).

Laying in bed, having my feet up is helping me get the water out...but, is it something that Im going to keep doing after I 'get' the water out entirely??? probably not, and am going to be fighting this battle for a very long time, I reckon.

Im taking those pills the Kidney Doctor recommended for me.
It amounts to large dose of folic acid and B-12. Is it helping? Not yet, but, its only been three days, so I will let it take two weeks to get completely into my system, before pronouncing it a bust or a keeper.

What gets me is, on the paper I get with the meds...
