The birthday "girl" is 56 today, born in '56. I am certain a numerologist could do something with that but I am not one. I just thought it was interesting.

DH surprised me with a waffle breakfast, sprinkled with fresh blackberries and topped with whipped creme, and six flaming candles.

With a couple of eggs over easy, sliced oranges, and warm maple syrup, it was the perfect start to my day -- especially since I was scheduled to spend all morning in a workshop to learn how to apply for student aide from my school.

THEN, once home again, he surprised me with a PERFECT quesadilla to accompany my garden salad. (I cannot wait to learn what his dinner plans are for me....)

I got a call from my sister, a beautiful gift (pen and notebooks) from her daughter, and emails from all those special people.

Sigh. Life is good at 56.

	A belated Happy Birthday to you! Sounds like you had a wonderful day and have a wonderful DH. Would love to know what he did for your birthday dinner! I like your profile photo. You look like a happy and very nice lady.
