Point Richmond has little to no fog and a temperate climate almost year round. Although not very big, Point Richmond is self-contained. It has everything from corner grocers, library, post office, fire department, realtor, pet store, animal and people MDs, dentist, pharmacy, inside heated swimming pool, fitness center, day spa, chuches, meditation center, beauty shops, shoreline park and beach, yacht club, railroad museum, art gallaries, antique and curio shops, clothing boutique, wine bar, hotels, playhouse, pubs, a night club with live music almost daily, gas station and more. There's a variety of eateries from gourmet to greasy spoon. From late spring to fall Point Richmond has a weekly Farmer's Market and a monthly concert series. During winter months to early spring Point Richmond has monthly acoustic music events. Memorial Day the entire town has a community yard sale. One couldn't ask for a better place to live. It has the best of both worlds a small town feel yet sophisticated with much to offer a person with varied interests.
