Working My Plan

Maybe it's just me, but having a plan to follow helps me feel that I have some control over my destiny and feel better about myself. (Not that I do not believe that God can override my petty plans, but that's God's prerogative.)
So, yesterday I created my activity plan for re-employment, my diet and exercise, and my preparations for increased job skills -- along with the usual house/yard work. This morning, by 7:30 I was "on it."
Now, it's mid-morning and I've already spent twenty minutes exercising, an hour in the yard, 30 minutes re-familiarizing myself with some Business Intelligence software that I have not used in eight years, and now I am sitting down to re-format my "old-style" resume to today's new, hip hybrid style.
I feel invigorated, already.
