Florida Wages / Standard of living

Question is there any State Wage laws or pending Regulation for at least employors to pay fair wages witch is in line with other parts of the county???

Speaking with Flordians that had to leave the State due to professional Growth, all of us has come to the conclusion they left for wages. Many of us getting higher wages for same like jobs that are in Florida.

The other point is if ,like me, coming back or hope to come back some how we are penalized for going for the next step.

So My questions is is their some guide lines for this in a Federal of State level? Or is some of these old Florida Business owners thing they can pay professional folks (Industrial of not) a 1970 wage?
