February Snow in Western Washington

A few weeks ago we were in the mid 50s and sunny and I was sure it would soon be time to get the rack on the car and get the kayak off the shelf. I love the time on the water, but hate the cold. Still, a warm spring day... hard to beat.
Then it dropped back to the 40s, and well -- it's the norm for the region, so I just figured I can be patient.
But today is the third day we've had snow in the past week. Granted today's is just flurries, but they say we might get up to an inch. Saturday it accumulated and stayed for over three hours.
I suppose it's a good thing that Bigun cannot have a walk, because between the wind and the snow, I would not be looking forward to getting out there, and it IS pretty, but... I wanted to get my yard spruced up today, and ....
