26th Anniversary of our 1st Date

Twenty-six years ago today, my DH went to the office determined that either he or "that #itch" was going to go, or they would find a way to make the working relationship work.

That evening, following an after work drink at a local piano bar, we were necking in the parking lot. Following a heated, secret office romance -- moving in together after a month, he was fired, took another job, we moved to Seattle, and got married 7.4 years later.

We've been struggling like to cats in a bag ever since, but it's been a great struggle.

We're going for 26 more, with God's grace.
