Generalizations of Lifestyles for Each Social Class in the USA

LOW-INCOME
Public Assistance (like Welfare, Section 8, EBT/food stamps)
Housing Projects or single-wide Trailer(if in rural-setting)
Homeless Shelter/Soup Kitchens
Clothing-donations
Fast-Food every day
Out of work
Public Library for Internet-access
Basic Cable
Low-Quality Public School Education (for kids)
At-most 1 older-model car (which could be "souped-up)
Poor English Skills (whether language barrier or cultural-dialect)
Public Transportation
Democrat/Liberal
Walmart, Discount stores (and Compare Foods for the NE USA)
Obesity
Lives up to the negative stereotypes of the low-class of their race (white=redneck; black/hispanic=ghetto)
Loudness
No medical-insurance
Parent has at most a High School Diploma
Single-Parent household
No air-conditioners, just Fans
Kids not sent to College
Doesn't vote
4+ kids
Parent has extensive Criminal-Record
Recycles cans/bottles found in street for cash
Non-existent or Terrible Credit Score

LOWER MIDDLE-INCOME/WORKING CLASS
Small House, small Apartment or double-wide trailer where kids have to share room
Crappy or below-average neighborhood
Fast food every other day
Basic Cable
1-2 Used Cars or Public Transportation
Walmart
Low-quality to average-quality Public School education (for kids)
Family shares 1-2 computers and 1-2 TV's
Single-Parent household or two-parent household with low-payed earners
Democrat (or if in deep south: republican)
Oftentimes Loud but knows there a time and a place
Local Vacations (to the beach or downtown for example)
Parent/s have no 4 year+ College degree
No medical insurance or very basic
More Fans then air-conditioners in house
Kids sent to Community College or 'Online Degree Mill' (like U.Phoenix, etc)
Above-ground Swimming Pool
Home-owner tends to lawn or nobody does and lawn stays neglected
At least one adult is obese
Women/Girls prefer to shop at Mall for clothes

Recycles cans and bottles used by family for additional cash

MIDDLE-INCOME
Target
Two-parent household where both earners make reasonable incomes
2+ New/newer model Cars
Good quality Public School education (for kids)
Cable with extra-channels or satellite TV
Fast Food 1-2 times a week
Kids are spoiled and drive low-end cars to HS
Medium Distance vacations (across the country for example)
Kids sent to Community College, State College or more-affordable University
Reasonable medical-insurance
Multiple computers in house
Equally as loud as when professional
Air-Conditioner in every bedroom
College educated (at least 1 parent has 4-year degree)
Average-sized to larger-sized house (where every kid gets bedroom)
Semi-inground or Inground Swimming pool
Votes
Either Republican or Democrat
Women/Girls prefer to shop at Shopping Mall for clothes
Sometimes landscapers do lawn; sometimes homeowner tends to lawn

Large-sized luxury home or luxury apartment/condo (if in city)

Both parents have at least a 4-year degree
Good medical insurance
Fast Food very rarely
Every kid has computer and TV in their room
Cable with extra-channels or satellite TV
Central-Air system in household
Food shopping at 'Whole Foods' or Wegmans
At least 1+ Long Distance vacations a year (ex. like to other countries)
Landscapers almost always tend to lawn care
Republican
Cleaning service comes to house at least once a week
2+ newer-model cars
Kids are very spoiled and drive average or nice cars when in HS
In-ground Swimming Pool
Ownership of Boat
Membership to Country Club or Tennis Club
In-shape/Physically fit
Recycles
Interest in 'Going-green movement' (has solar panels, energy efficient bulbs, etc)
Speaks in educated fashion

Women/Girls prefer to shop at downtown boutique/shop for clothes

Retires between 45-65 years old
