Bed holds me captive

Laying here in my bed, the warmth surrounds me. It holds me hostage and I just do not want to get up, knowing I should. Tiny specks of sun shine through my blinds here and there but even still, my eyes want to stay closed, my body wants more replenishment.

Maybe the many things I have to do today are what keeps me here, and nothing else. We have decided that he will come here today, instead of us going out to his area, and that is just fine with me. Driving wears me out.

There is a sting on my leg, even still, from Wednesday. It occupies such a small area compared to my huge back piece but the leg is so much more mobile, and it just all around hurts more.

He still doesn't know that I have had work done, but I have hinted that I did something on my birthday that he does not know about. He guessed it first thing, "You got a tattoo?" I did not answer because as I was talking to him and driving down the road rain started hitting the windshield and I started on that.

As I drove that road yesterday, so many words were popping into my mind to write, but now, they are long gone, not even a trickle of a thought anymore.....

Off to get this Saturday started, I suppose.
