It's the summer

Between kids & work & home & nice weather & summer fun & BBQ's & family, I've spent less time around the blogs.
Since my last post, I went back to smoking... I will try again for as long as I find something to help me emotionally. I found it difficult to dealing with stress, which made me depressed.
We the price of gas & the cost of everything else going up, we'll probably "vacation" in our own area. It's actually something we enjoy doing.
Feel free to share your summer plans in a comment.

Not much in the way of an exciting summer here..I am going to Gatlinburg this Tuesday with two of my 3 daughters and two of my nine grands..Going to swim, shop and see a couple shows. It is only about a 3 hour drive so won't use up my whole retirement savings in gas

We'll probably be using public trans a lot more this summer.

We are staying home and cool. Now come January things are gonna change. If we scrimp now maybe we can go to MO for a winter vacation. I want to visit the Ozarks for some winter photography and case the area for a place to live. Hope you work out the smoking thing for the best. I never started and now most of my friends have been able to quit. I don't fuss about it but really try to be supportive of them. I know it's hard. I'm battling giving up my diet coke. Down to a glass a day...

Since Gas as went up, and the kids have gotten involved in more activities, we are staying alot closer to home, about the farthest we drive is an hour or two to the lake or to Hardy Arkansas, Welcome To Hardy Arkansas.com The "unofficial" Home page of Old hardy Town which is about 45 minutes. Maybe this year on Thankgiving we will go to Branson, MO, its gotten to be a (almost) family ritual.
