Cheney: he he he ... Saddam tried to kill your Dad, you have to avenge this George
Bush: I do? But I like being governor, it's kinda easy and I can go see my Astros play whenever I want.
Cheney: he he he .. you owe it to your Dad, it's your family honor at stake, Saddam tried to have your Dad killed. Doesn't that mean anything to you?
Bush: Well ... <eyes cross> ... I suppose it should.
Cheney: IT'S YOUR DAD!
Bush: Well ... yea ... but I love my baseball games and the governor doesn't have to do much in Texas except make fun of people gettin' executed, and I like doing that, I get to make weepy faces and that's kinda fun.
Cheney: I'll tell you what to do George
Bush: You will? You want to be my VP?
Cheney: Uh, no .. of course not, but I'll find you a good one. Trust me
Bush: Do I have to do all the talkin'?
Cheney: You're educated, you can talk to people, you're folksy
Bush: And you'll tell me what to say?
Cheney: Well, me and Don, and Paul
Bush: Who?
Cheney: You let me worry about that George, I'll take care of everything
Bush: I trust you.
