Joining our Spiritual Hands in Peace

I believe in the Universal Presence in which all life has its being, and that Presence is known to peoples of all times by various names. My culture names it God, but others call it Allah, Christ, Buddha, Brahman, the Tao, ... and the list goes on.
I understand that the core of all spiritual practice is the practice of harmonizing with life as it is by the means of love and adoration. It is what grows from the heart when the head and ego don't get in its way.
As sentient beings, having eaten from the tree of knowledge (in my culture), we have to choose from which we want to operate: ego, or heart.
I choose to operate from my heart. I will continue to work with my ego and my intellect to keep them from getting in the way of my values, but I choose to work from a love that knows boundless peace and a gratitude for all that live here with me. They show me the roads not taken, and help me steer my course.
No one of us is loftier in the eyes of God.
If you share my love of God (by any name) and humanity, please join your spiritual hands with me and pray for the peace that knows no bounds so that the conflict and strife in mankind's hearts may be soothed.
Let us affirm the love in our hearts that it may flow out from our united souls and still these troubled waters.
