This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Exercise

Posted 08-29-2011 at 02:14 PM by woodworkingmenace

I went to my exercise session yesterday, and it took me three hours to do what I normally do in an hour and a half!

I was bone tired when I came out of there, dragging myself out of there, and the people wishing me well LOL.. (Maybe they thought I was on my last leg?? ).

I have to admit, I have a wonderful Wife, who patiently waits for me to get done with each machine, and wipes then down, and carry my 'stuff' to the next one. (Water bottle with ice and cushion are a necessity for me, all I have to do, is keep my canes under me, so I dont fall down!).

My Wife did it again last night!! Before we went to bed, she informed me that her sugar was 'low' again, and I told her 'not' to take another pill, as it would send her system in a downward spiral.
This is 'really' starting to worry me now...
Figuring her Mother, her Aunts, her Grandmother all had sugar diabetes, and she cant figure out what to eat to keep hers to a respectable level?

Her Sister says she can die from too low a sugar count!! (I knew if you were too high, you could go into a coma, didnt know what would happen if she went too low, except that she got the 'sweats').

For a few days, I was thinking, maybe she 'didnt' have sugar, or beat the sugar, and now, 'being normal' again, she was crashing because she took the pills?? (No, I wouldnt advise her 'not' to take her medication, but, I would tell her to monitor herself more, and if her sugar is low, not to take any meds, because that could send her into a 'crash and burn'.

Fortunately, today she said her sugar was 149, so, I know she is ok for now, but, if I have to ask her, if she has eaten or not, a couple of times a day, and keep a couple of sugar packages in her purse, in case she needs to get her sugar 'upped'. Since she cant really keep a candy bar in her purse, because of the Summer Heat.

How do you bring 'someone back' if they die from thier 'sugar' being low? She doesnt take shots, only pills, and the pills drive her sugar too low at times...(Maybe she isnt eating enough starch to produce sugar, for the meds to work on?) I dont know what a proper nutrition for someone with Diabetes is, but, Im figuring my Wife should know...
Sheesh!!

Im getting addicted to playing freecell, big time! Got out of my bath at 1:30am last night, and played until 4am, when my Wife got up and was ready to read me my pedigree for being up so late LOL. I didnt tell her that our Daughter was up at 3:30am, talking on the phone with whomever it was she was gabbing with... I figured she was on my case, so, why get her more upset about that?

OK, nap time for me now

I wish you well...
