My Daughter painted her room this week.
She painted the basecoat neon green. Then, she splashed on pink, and red. It looks like a train wreck, or, better described as a chain saw massacre!! Gastly colors, and when she finally moves out, its going to be a real pain to cover that junk up. (blobs of paint just spatted on the wall, so, Im wondering if a putty knife will have to be used first? who knows... cant wait to see what she wants to do 'next' with that room. Bad enough, she took the bed frame off the bed and has two mattresses on the floor... maybe I should tell her, that bums on 'skid row' live like that too??).
Maybe in a Museum, that would be considered 'modern art', but, not in my house hold, and not in a disturbed Daughter's room, sheesh.
My Wife is starting to put her yard sale 'junk' out in the yard!!! Uh, its only Wednesday, and she wants it all out, and its going to 'RAIN' Thursday night LOL... Lets hope that the rain doesnt soak the stuff, the cats dont go and tear up the stuff and the neighbors dont 'bug' my Wife about wanting to 'pick through it', or she may chuck the entire mess and give it to the Garbage Man again, like she did last time LOL. I sure hope those drunks dont try and 'sneak' into the yard and take anything, cause our dog will put up such a ruckus that we will 'have' to look outside and call the Law on them if we catch them.
Wife figures, since she had to pay 28 bucks to put it in the paper, she wants her moneys worth, so, she is getting her Sisters junk to seel with hers... Going to be lots of fun around my house this coming weekend
Wife just told me that my Daughter is bringing in a house guest today, to stay the night. One of her Girlfriends. The girl doesnt 'interact' with the family, and snubs us, like we arent there, so, Im not exactly thrilled at this one. All her other Girlfriends talk to us, and raid the fridge when they are hungry, and make themselves at home, intergrating with the family, so, its just like having another Daughter in the house...But, when you get one that is 'standoffish', it sort of makes it uncomfortable in the house and I dont mind them staying in her room and not coming out.
Daughter is stuck in Weirton right now. They are filling pot holes and tamping them, and its going to take 3 weeks to clear up the bottleneck from Weirton to the Veterans Memorial Bridge, so, traffic is going to be a night mare for that time. Couple of hours to get to Steubenville in the traffic!!
