A view from the top.... Minnesota that is.
Life for me has never been more enjoyable than it is these days. I packed up the Family and move us from Wisconsin, a year and a half ago and moved to Norther Minnesota, specifically Sebeka MN. A small town with a Population of 600 plus where like the bar in "Cheers" everyone knows your name.
Hey, it's not sappy, it's real. We're a tough breed of people. It gets cold here in winter, for a month straight we'll have tempuratures below zero, well below zero.
I thought it would drive me back south, but it didn't. Instead I found that I actually like it. Yes I enjoy the cold weather. All four seasons here in Minnesota are Spectacular. Summer is so Beautiful and the out-doors so very nature filled. As I lay in bed I can hear cows moo'ing. I've come to like hearing it. The deer that roam the neighborhood are all fun to see. We have a family of Foxes living in the woods beside us, the Beavers by the Red Eye river are great engineers. My local Red Headed Woodpecker is really neat to see at work, it's huge!
West Central, the local Coop for phone and cable service provides us with Fiber Optics, and so I find myself as connected as ever. Who needs to live in the city? Certainly not myself. Just so long as I can survive here, I'm staying put.
So check back from time to time IF you want to see how life is rolling by up here in rural Minnesota, also known as God's Country. Pretty easy to see why it's called that. The land of 10,000 lakes and the wonderous expansive Pine Forrests gives anyone that sureal feeling of contentment, being at one with nature and all.
Stop on by and see us, there's always something going on.
