Faith

Faith.
We are told to have faith.
We are to told to have a belief in something without having proof. It sorta defies logic, right?
Then the next answer is, that's why it's called faith.
Mildly frustrating at best, infuriating at worst.
I wanna have faith, I think every human at some point subscribes to it. Once the machine has safely taken our dollar, and as we punch in the numbers and the ticket comes out...... there is a brief moment when we have faith.
When a loved one is lying in the hospital bed, once again faith comes to hang around, and we hope that it pays off.
Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
It's much like putting all your money on #5 black.
