Are You Winning?

Posted 03-15-2011 at 09:13 PM by CraigBlogClog

What the heck does this mean and why does Charlie Sheen keep saying it? Has he gone completely bonkers? Maybe si, and maybe no. Who knows for sure. But he does look like he is in some kind of trouble, especially after watching his psychotic online rantings. Talking about Trolls and Tiger Blood running through his veins - What is that? Is this what happens to you when you get almost everything in life you could ever want; Looks, fame, power and money, being spilled upon you for years and years? Maybe its that he has no religion, no higher calling or purpose in life, above acting and partying. Its kind of like he's a version of his on-air persona Charlie Harper on Two and Half Men, but without all the (somewhat) witty humor, and way more craziness.

Tell you what, If I were making $1.8 million US Dollars per 30 minute episode off Two and a Half Men, and had the fame and fortune from all my other projects, I would be pretty dang generous and giving to others. I would be thankful to the gods or God, or Jesus, for all the great fortunes that had been bestowed upon me, and try to spread it around. Help some less fortunate people out, you know, like pay it forward. Maybe donate something to the Japanese quake victims, or start a charity.

So I got to thinking why is Charlie Sheen so mad? I mean he won an Oscar for Platoon didn't he? But you know what? Aha! In fact, after doing some research for this blog entry, it turns out that he did not win
an Oscar for Platoon, or was he even nominated. Turns out he's never won an Oscar for anything as far I can tell, and never even been nominated for one. WallStreet? Nope. Red Dawn? Nope. Major League? Hell No. Young Guns, Men At Work, the list goes on. All good movies with him as a main, or pretty main, character. And the most he has to show for all his work are some Golden Globes (blah!), and some Emmy nominations (and millions of dollars, fortune and fame).

If I were Charlie Sheen, and I was in as many awesome movies as he was, I would be out of my mind that I hadn't won an Oscar for all my hard work. I'd be telling the Hollywood elites off one after another and start asking everyone if they were Winning too. Whatever that is. Let just hope he gets better soon.

Facts dug up from the internet:

- Charlie Sheen won 3 Golden Globes for Spin City and Two and a Half Men. He has four Emmy nominations for Two and a Half Men.

- Platoon won Best Picture in 1986 and Sheen was "widely praised for the effort". Slight!

Drugs, sex and rock & roll has a tendency of making you think you are 'larger than life'...

So many 'stars', with drug problems, so many 'burn outs' with death as the ultimate equalizer to everyone.

They say a star, shinning brighter in the heavens will burn out quicker. Well, ol Charlie Sheen's star fizzled when he opened his mouth and begans his rant and tirade...

Lets hope someone can talk some sense into him, before he goes too far, and is an ultmate casualty in life, as those who have gone before him, have shown the way to destruction.

    I wish you well...
