Change of plans! The guy from Office Max LIED to me!!! Man, that burns my kiester, being lied to, and sending my Wife and Son up to get a Printer and finding out that the cartridges DONT cost 4.99 for black ink, but 14.99!! And the color for the thing cost 60 bucks. Well, they can keep the lexmark printer for that lie...
Wife and Son got me an HP Officejet 4500, and it works very well, cheaper than the other one, only 69 bucks, instead of the 214 bucks they wanted to charge me LOL... (Good thing my Wife is CHEAP!! She always manages to save me a bundle on everything she buys).
Also, found out my Sister in Law has one, and says it works like a charm...(course she doesnt use hers as much as we do, so, its overkill for any printer in my house!)
Though, its not a 'fast printer', it works...(havent tried the color section yet, and until I need it, I wont bother).
One thing it doesnt have is one of those ports to put in a 'chip' from a camera... My Daughter was bad about printing out pictures she took, on my Son's computer, (yea, he owns a lexmark, and it has a bunch of stuff on it...most I dont need).
This thing has a fax on it, even has a telephone keypad on the printer... shame I dont have it hooked up to the phone line, but, I dont really want faxes anyways... tried that nonesense with an earlier version of HP printer I had and it just didnt work, so, I can live with out it
OH, I just found out that we are having company... seems my Daughters Cousin is coming down to visit... probably stay the night, and if she stays til Sunday she will go to Church with the family..(house rules). Since my Buddy and his Wife isnt here, they wont be taking her back, so my Wife will have to make the trip... Never mind, seems that her Mother will make the trip halfway, and we will drop her off Sunday...(Wife and Daughter), if we were going to drop her off at her house, I may have gone, for the drive... Oh well...
OK, Im happy for the day
Didnt blow my entire Tax Return on that printer, and can pay off the Federal part that I owe!! Course, they wont get the thing until I send it out April 18th!! Since I owe, let THEM wait for the check being in the Mail ROTFLOL 
Had a nice chat with my Daughter as she sat on my easy chair, talking about School and other things... Hope we can do that more often... My Son and I do it alot, and its a great thing to be able to communicate with my kids.
