Castle In North Carolina?

This is one of my favorite places of the Triad of North Carolina
If you are looking for something that deck out for the holidays
in this state that is a little more affordable than the Biltmore in Asheville.

The castle is a restored gold refinery listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Built in 1823 and restored in mid-1980, the castle is a granite structure with a drawbridge, moat and 70-foot tower.


Check out this video this guy did of the place with interview someone who knows the history of the place.
