This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Milk- Does a Body Good!

Posted 01-06-2011 at 10:50 AM by woodworkingmenace

Well, it must have been all those years of not drinking milk that led to Arthritus (my ol buddy), coming back and rearing its ugly head again...
I took one of those Anti-Inflammatory pills (500mg Naproxen), and I have very little pain below the knee cap at all! Im figuring after today, (since I have to take one in the morning and one at night), I should be pain free... Thing is, I wonder how long I will have to take them? Is this going to be a steady regiment of my already vast assortment of pills and baubbles and rattles??? The side effect would scare someone to death-->heart attack, stroke, liver failure, and a whole host of things that can go seriously wrong to cancel a life out... (I wonder how many people actually 'suffered' these things and the Food and Drug Administration let them go to Market, while putting out the 'cheat sheet' on the hazards? Its REALLY gotta make a fella wonder ROTFLOL
But, right now, Im simply glad that I am out of pain, pert near, and will accept this and run as far with it as possible.
I just wonder, all my years of not drinking milk, is it too late to start again, and stop the arthritus from completely taking over every joint in my body and giving me excruciating pain??? I will drink a glass of milk a day and hope for the best...

Acutally, I was hoping that when I told my Wife, she would say, OK, you can go to therapy now...But, our Neighbor called and she had to take her to the store, so, I will see if she is available to take me later on today, or tomorrow. (Yea, this has REALLY got me excited that I can finally 'BEAT' pain, with out pain meds...sweeeeeet !!! I wonder if its going to work on my back also, and I wont have to take anymore pain meds? tomorrow I will find out, cause Im going to get up and not use my canes and see how fast the pain attacks my back...if it doesnt, well, those pain pills are going back to the pain center and Im telling them CYA!!)

Daughter didnt go to School today... hmm that makes almost a week she has been out. I hope its not a repeat of those 2.5 years she didnt want to go to school.. I REALLY cant take anymore of that nonesense... Since its Thursday, she will probably miss tomorrow too, but, Im gonna tell her, you HAVE to start back on Monday, cause if you get 'used' to this again, your not going to want to go back, and you NEED to get that diploma!! Only a few more months of school, she can do that, easily I hope...

OK, 'nuff for the moment... Gonna go to YouTube and listen to some music, and chat with my Sis in law on Instant Messanger.

I wish you well...
