I dont know WHY, but that pain under my left knee cap is getting worse... When I got up today, the knee cap felt like it went 'down' far enough to go into the pain area-->probably meaning the pain area is expanding...
I think today I will try some of that Bengay ointment and see if the heat can help with this...Or, in another day or two, I may have to make a Doctors appointment about this-->Reason why I havent 'gone' and done it yet, is because I HATE Doctors, (not personally, just going to them and having something 'DONE' to me), AND, I hate Hospitals even worse!! Sure, it maybe the greatest room service a guy can buy, but, I have great 'room service' with my Wife!! Why pay extra to have me butchered upon, by slicing and dicing on my leg? I know, if I go into a Hospital, its 'got' to be for something like that, so, until I CANT walk, thats not an option!!
OK, had my Wife rub some Bengay onto the 'sore spot'... THAT was painful LOL... Now to wait til it 'activates' and starts to warm up...Also, took a couple of pain meds-->yea, I know, something I dont usually do unless Im exercising, but, as I say, this is actually worse than my back pain, because its killing me sitting down
My Wife said I probably bruised it, but, thats not possible, because of my blood thinners, I would have a huge bruise mark, or some kind of mark on that site...
OK, 'nuff of my whinning
Hmmm Room Service has arrived !! Wife just brought me coffee and a slice of cinnimon bread and a slice of banana bread-->warmed up in the microwave, Yummy
I have the Culture Warrior almost done-->Left 15 pages for me to read, in case I didnt get to go to exercise today... Being on the computer all day is REALLY boring, since I dont play Evony anymore, so I have to have, 'something' to do LOL Its a Great Read!! I highly recommend it, and now, I will have to check the Library to see the 'opposite' of Culture Warrior, which mentions "Dont Think of an Elephant" and "Know Your Values and Frame Your Debate" by George Lakoff
I figure if I am reading the "Right Side", then I will give equal value and voice by reading the "Left Side" and compare the good, the bad, and the ugly about Political nonesense!!
I will check my local Library site and see if I can order the books through there...
At least this will give me some perspective on whats driving the Country, if Bill O'Reilly thinks it an excellent example and quotes from it, then it has to be worth the 'read'!
Daughter is still home today, (her last day of sleeping in til the afternoon, after texting half the night!!).
My Son got a Raise yesterday!! Fifty cents... which aint too bad, and the Boss told him, that when this girl who is leaving for Tennessee in April, finally 'does' leave, he will be getting another raise because he will be taking over her duties! Im just hoping that he gets on 'full time' when she leaves, so he can get 5 days a week, save up enough money and eventually gets out on his own and look for the girl of his dream!!
He really wants to find a girl, settle down, get married and all the 'traditional' things in life... I reckon after another year or two at home, he can save enough for a down payment on a house-->reason we dont charge him rent, because we want our kids to have some kind of savings before they head out on their own...
I will hate to see him leave! I know, after he is gone, then my Daughter is going to ask to have the car, and we will only see her when she comes in to hit us up for money or needs to sleep or eat LOL... Im not in a hurry to have either of the kids out on thier own just yet... (Yea, I know, they HAVE to fly the 'coop' eventually, and find thier own way in life, and I wont hold them back from it, when they are ready, I will try to help them as much as I can, AND, unless ask for advice, I will endeover to keep my mouth SHUT!!
My Wife is packing up all the Christmas ornamentations and artificial tree in plastic tubs. We have been buying the plastic tubs to store things in the basement, so that moisture doesnt get to items stored, and rats, (if they do get inside), wont readily chew through plastic-->they would rather chew through cardboard and items like that, and, yes, I know they can chew through plastic, and if they do, it will be much easier to spot them, then look around every place for holes... Besides, it looks 'neater' for stacked plastic containers, then a whole bunch of falling apart boxes, simply because they have been opened and closed so many times... I just commented to my Wife, that those plastic tubs look so 'neat' !! Sure glad she took my advice on that one...
OK, Bengay isnt working, so Im gonna sit most of the day on my easy chair, with a heating pad on my knee, and, because I took this pain meds, Im actually falling asleep!! Maybe thats why, when Im almost done with the exercises at the "Y", Im nodding off so much I cant keep my head up and eyes opened!! Hmmm, ok, now to ask my Wife to go and nod off on the couch, while I 'get the chair' LOL... What was it they called the 'electric chair'?? Oh yea, 'Ol Sparky'!!
