OK, its Official, she is 18 now, sheesh!!
My Daughter went to her buddys house, (who shares the same birthdate with her), and told me that she would be home at 8...
Then, my Wife called to see if she will be needing a ride home, and my Daughter gave her the static... She would be home when "she" decided, cause she is 18 now!!! NADA!!!
Just aint gonna happen here!!
Wife said not to say anything cause 'Its her Birthday'...(always the enabler, and why we have trouble with my Daughter in my opinion and a whole lot of other people!!). I told her, if she pulls this again, then some tough love is going to happen...
No Driving!! She will go nuts if she doesnt get her lisence LOL... (Driving is a 'privledge' and not a 'right'!!). Its not like I havent wasted a lot more money than what I paid out, and she didnt get her lisence yet, so, she had better mind her Ps and Qs on that one
Waiting for 'static' about going to school... Gonna tell her she will have to find elsewhere to 'roost'...cause if she lives in my house, you get that education and sheepskin! Everyone in my family has a diploma, she isnt going to be the first NOT to get one...and with the cold, she aint gonna be wanting to find someplace else to live at the moment, (I hope!). I know that one is coming, sooner or later, but, I rather have it later....
Maybe Im anticipating all the problems, but, now that she 'thinks' she is an adult, life is going to be a lot more interesting around here, and with her past history, she is an easy
'read' on her future... Unfortunately...
