Moving to Hayward from So. Cal

Posted 11-14-2008 at 02:44 PM by sweet_pilar

My husband and I are planning to move to Hayward soon and need some help to pick a neighborhood to buy a home. It is just the two of us, no kids anymore. We are in our 40's, but young 40's.We want a safe neighborhood, and working or middle class are fine. We know to stay away from the downtown area and Tennyson on the right side of the 880 in S. Hayward.Raciallly mixed neighborhoods are not a problem,(we are caucasion, but have racial mixing in our own family). Any suggestions are appreciated as we are coming up the weekend of 11/22 to find a house to buy. Thanks.
