Near Death Experience...the creepy side...

I often listen to Coast to Coast...and often here George Norri interview guests who are so assured that when you die, or when they die, that they will be greeted by loving cheerful happy family or entities...

And although, never themselves being totally dead, they seem to have no doubt about this in their head...

What scares me about this is that there never seems to be no kind of consequence in these scenerios...

I mean whether you spent your living years robbing and torturing people, 'your greeted by positive light'...

In these after life or NDE's, there seems to be no accountability to no one...it's like everyone is ushered into this warm fuzzy tunnel...but never quite get to the end before getting drawn back into their body...

And then they come back and give this wonderful fuzzy account to how warm and fuzzy they felt...

But again, something about that seems creepy to me...almost deceptive....

Me personally and instinctively...I would not trust that light...or the tunnel, unless and until whatever occupied it identifyied itself...

If it's Satan, I want to know, if it's God, I want to know...(the good God)...

And just because something appeared to look like a deceased family member of mine...doesn't mean it is...

Again, I would have to ask questions, a lot of 'why's' and 'how comes'...

I would never blindly accept anything at face value in such a realm...I would never walk into a deceptive trap like that and automatically assume 'everything is good'...

I mean nothing really works that way...at least not in the physical...

If everyone is rewarded with 'paradise' regardless of the life they lived...than would it be paradise?

If no lessons were learned, or attitudes changed, than what is it?

There has to be some type of filtering process, in order for the next life to be better and improoved...

If not, than your basically allowing 'evil' people who caused harm down here, to live again, eternally, with those who were 'good'...only now Al Capone has super being powers...

And it also bugs me that people always assume that just because they know someone who died...that that person is automatically in 'heaven'....I thought God made that decision, not us...

My grandma died a while ago...I have no idea where she is...nor will I speculate...all I know is she's not here on earth no more or at least in bodily form...

But I would never say..'Oh, she's looking down from Heaven'...cause I don't know that...and according to the bible, that's not how it works...

People don't all go to paradise just because their related to you or because you 'think they should'...otherwise everyone would be in heaven...cause even criminals have people who 'love' them...

I think what happens after death, and where we end up, is for God to decide...

I'd like to write a scary movie about Near Death Experience one day...

And show the dark deceptive side of it...

Your contemplativeness is to be commended.

As a philosopher (B.A. Southern Illinois University), I can appreciate your inquisitive nature.

Your mistrust of the afterlife experience is understandable, since there is much in our present state to justify caution. I would point out, however, that when we shed our physical body, we have no option but to communicate purely by telepathy, i.e., by direct spirit-to-spirit transfer of information. That is how you will know who is greeting you.

Let's break this issue into two possibilities: 1) You can go into the Light, or 2) You can avoid the Light.

Throughout my questing, I have learned that there are two kinds of psychics who can communicate with those who have crossed over. One type, such as John Edward, connects with those who have gone into the Light. Others connect only with "earthbound spirits," i.e., ghosts.

Psychics are in agreement that those who remain earthbound are in a stagnate state. In other words, they are held back from progressing due to fear, guilt, obsession, or an inability to generate enough love within themselves to be sufficiently buoyant to ascend into the Light.

As for accountability for one's actions: we think in such terms in the physical state, because our way of interacting is based on cause and effect. Therefore, we base our social institutions upon the concept of "justice."

The purely spiritual condition is not based on cause and effect but on fullness and deficiency. Either you will be rich in spirit or poor, or somewhere in between. Your goal will be to become more full in spirit.

Indeed, the lack of love or spiritual fullness is the reason that people do evil things when they are incarnate. Moreover, the lack of love can prevent people from ascending into the Light where they would be able to work on becoming better people.

When a person goes into the Light, they not only communicate directly, spirit to spirit, they also pass on all of their memories. A sister and brother would pass on every memory of having being hurt by the other and every memory of love that was shared. They would each experience the pain that they caused the other and would suffer the remorse that goes with such powerful realization.

That is the work that is done in the Light. That is how we become more compassionate and rich in spirit. Those who remain earthbound do not do this work and they do not progress. Perhaps the Light is described as Paradise because those who go there have more love to shine and share than those who remain in the emptiness of the earthbound realm.

As for your Grandma, if she was a loving person who did not die a traumatic death such as by murder, she almost certainly went into the Light.

When my beloved Grand Aunt passed on a Saturday, I woke up Sunday with an oval shaped haze hovering over me and an absolute knowledge that it was her. I also knew she was telling me that "Everything is okay."

It is unfortunate that the Western Bible does not give us more information about these matters. We have to bear in mind that decisions about what writings would go into that Bible were made by power-mongering politicians who went on genocidal rampages to wipe out all who knew the whole truth. These politicians knew that they could use fear to control the people and, therefore, removed the higher knowledge from the religion that they designed.

It so happens that St. John the Divine, the author of the Book of Revelations, survived such a massacre and hid himself away, whereupon he wrote that famous treatise. To this day, the Catholic Church does not put his book into their cannon.

What did his sect know that the authorities did not want the people to learn? I suspect it all sleeps between the lines waiting to be awakened when the time is right.

    Happy Halloween!

I was listening to the Art Bell show the other night...he had on two guests, talking about 'spirit guides'

And they were convinced that these spirit guides were 'good' or 'cared for them'...

And I thought to myself, how arrogant to assume that...

How self serving, to assume that supernatural beings, with powers far beyond ours, would, could, actually give a hoot about any of us...

And for this female guest to actually think she has the ability to 'control' these beings, to me is absurd...

(it would be equivelant to a ant thinking it could control man)

    I think Paranormal activity 1, 2

Portray a more real account to the nature of such beings...expecially ones outside the realm of 'Angels'...

Angels, that serve God, I believe are good, cause their serving a master who is good and loving...but outside of that realm, no telling what you will get...

And people on these talk shows, or authors, who actually think they can control these supernatural beings, like a pet dog, are greatly fooling themselves...

I mean why would a supernatural being subject it'self to caring for mortal man, who are flawed in all shapes, forms, and sizes, in their eyes?

What would be a supernatural beings motive to 'love' and 'care' for any of us...

People tend to project their own 'love of self' into the character of these so called 'spirit guides'...to me, that's fool hardy and dangerious.

Me personally, I think these beings are full of deception, and love to lure, trick people into thinking their in 'good hands'...

I see it as a trap...that people who are 'vain', fall into...

I would never trust a 'spirit guide', never...
Who in my opinion go around collecting nieve souls...

You could be like inviting a 'ted bundy' type guide into your life...

Their smarter and more clever than we are, and to think some how we mortal humans can harness these guides 'love' and 'sympothy' is absurd...

If anything they have hatred and resentmant towards man...and would love to see us fall, and seperate from the one true God of love...
