Sunday is a day of rest?

I guess that was true for me today for more hours than I care to admit. I got up at 5:00am, went back to bed at 9:00am, back up at 10:00am fixed lunch then back to bed at 12:00pm and up again at 4:15pm. All of this broken sleep is about to do me in.
The incisions are looking great comparatively. My cheek does not hurt and looks much better than my leg which does hurt. It has been on and off hurt today but yesterday was a constant reminder than my Dr. removed part of my body and sent it to pathology.
We had supper about 8:30pm which is very late for us but between the sleeping and mowing and dishes and laundry that is when it was done and we sat down to eat.
The kitchen counters can be seen once again which is generally not the case since I am always trashing my kitchen fixing one thing or another. All of the trash has been gathered and taken out to the big trash cans to be picked up on Tuesday. All of the burning barrel things are currently burning, all of the laundry is in one form of needs to be dealt with or another. In English that means I have 3 loads to hang up and put away in the dressers, I have one load in the dryer, one load in the washer and at least 3 loads waiting to be washed however, the last 3 loads are linens and blankets and comforters from the bed hence the reason there are 3 loads. The only dishes to be done currently are those used for supper and those should take just a few minutes to get washed.
I decided to put Firefox on the desktop today which I finally got hooked back up with the new keyboard and mouse. Right now I'm doing an update to Adobe and hopefully that will be done soon so I can move on with the rest of my boring evening.
The forum seemed to take on a new level of boring today and every game I tried to play on POGO, Facebook or my own games on PC seemed to be at the same level of boring. I guess I'm just boring today or easily bored. I suppose I should have taken my behind out of my chair and found something else to do today that was at least productive but I am choosing to use "my leg hurts" as an excuse at the moment.
The truth is it does hurt and I am about to take some tylenol for the pain other than that no other reason for not doing something productive other than I seem to be completely bored with everything today.
I don't really watch television much and I even tried to sit and do that for a bit, didn't work out so well. I lasted all of about 10 minutes then came back to the computer.
I have to leave the house early tomorrow to go to my last post operative visit to be completely released from my surgery in July. I'm sure that will go well unless the Dr. finds some unknown to me issue. Then on Friday I go and have the stitches taken out of my cheek and my leg and head to Tennessee for the weekend.
Sneakers and I are meeting one of his brothers there for the weekend. Sneakers does not know that his brother is going to be there though so I have to be sure he does not read this blog yet. His brother and I decided to surprise him with the weekend visit and I'm sure Sneakers will be very pleased with the surprise.
I found a house in Muscatine, Iowa that I really like from the photo and I think we should take the drive to Iowa and take a look at it in person. We really need to go to Muscatine, Iowa anyway and get a vehicle we have there taken to the junk yard. It is a very old Taurus Station Wagon that Sneakers paid $200.00 for and drove for about 4 years. He loved that car and I always hated that car but I didn't drive it so not an issue really. It is being junked because there is no real logical practical sense in getting it fixed. The repairs will cost more than the entire car is worth even at book value so it is being sent to car heaven; it has lived a good long productive life.
It is 9:51pm and I am just tired again so I guess I'll end this writing with nothing but ending the writing.
Rest well when you get there, allow yourself to wander the timbers of slumber freely and dream the dreams that can only be dreamed in dreams and don't forget to put up your dream catchers.
