Do your husband a favor and divorce him. If you can't love him, then he needs to find someone who will. He deserves better.

My suggestion would be to divorce, focus on your education and strengthen your life before you decide to join another union.

There are a few things I would tell my 17 year old daughter to do...becoming married would never be one of them. You are not old enough, emotionally mature enough, or responsible enough at 17 for a marriage. You are ready at that age for many things, driving & working among those things. Starting a family should wait until you have all the "young" out of your system.

Your mate for life should be your best friend. If your husband is not the one for you, be honest with him and your mother. If she puts it on your shoulders to make as heavy a decision as marriage with your life, well then she has put it in your hands to make any decision you feel is best for your life. She has made you an adult, and it is time for you to take on that role - so be a woman about it. Do not cheat, do not be bullied - be honest and do what is best for you.

What's the underlying reason your Mother made you get married? At 17, things are so up in the air for most. Finishing school, job, college, and what you want to be in life. I find it hard to believe that anyone would want their daughter to be a wife at the age of 17, especially with so many opportunities for women. Although too young to marry, you are still old enough to make your own choice about marriage.

And remember, what is done in the dark always comes to light.

    So be honest with everyone.

One rule of thumb: learn the English language and alphabet before committing to anything for the rest of your life.

I'm 17 and I got married because my mom told me to! It was OK until I realized that I'm in love with my best friend. The part that makes it even worse is that he is in love with me as well. I tried everything to forget about him, but I can't. My days are so bad if I don't see him. I just think about him and I cant stop smiling. Being with him is better than everything else. I just don't care anymore, I just want to stay with him. I picture his eyes and smile in my head and they just won't go away. We never did anything we couldn't because it wouldn't have been fair to my husband who is not a bad guy.

I just don't know what to do. Should I leave my husband or should I stay with him? I don't love him and the only reason I'm staying with him is because my mom would kill me if I left him!
I feel like I'm walking in circles and not going anywhere with my life.

17 year olds are very rarely in love for life

At 17 this 2nd guy is probably your 1st love. And though they are powerful(or so it seems), it's just that this is the 1st crush you've had reciprocated.

You need to focus on you and find out what your interests are. Did you graduate high school, dream of college days, & then a job where you would be able to support yourself without a man.
That way when you had spread your wings & really had seen what you might be capable of, then you would be able to CHOOSE a man.
