This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

OK, lets start with Monday, July4th, Indepdence Day for America...

We all got up and most were looking forward to go to the picnic today, (well, not all). We piddled around, my Wife doing her usual things around the house, watering the plants and taking the dog out and household chores, while I got up a wee bit late, and everyone was up already.
Doris, well she was ready to meet the family and decided not to go swimming that day, because she would be meeting and greeting everyone she didnt know and to her that must have been a special treat.
Rita Mae has nine Daughters! One was coming up from Florida, (dont know why she didnt bring her Mom up, but thats later), and another one was coming from California! Yep, quite a long distance for both of them and family members also.
So, we go to the picnic and lo and behold, there are cars everywhere, and adults and a boat load of kids running to and from... Wife figured 50 people, but, I reckon close to about 30 or a wee bit more, cause friends of the family were stopping by, so, who knows if anyone kept track LOL.
We were suprised because my Wife found a guy there, who she 'babysitted' when he was a little boy, and the guy had a full grey beard and looked older than I was...(made me feel old too!!).

There must have been five sisters there, cause the ones from around here, were there and they had a peck of grandkids and all that, so I took pictures of everyone, individual and in groups, so that, eventually, I wil find a computer at home to download them on, and burn a disc with everyones picture on it, for Dave and Brenda (owners of the home), and for Doris, who will eventually return to Missouri and tell all her adventures...

Doris made a mental note of who was who, (I was confused by all the wimmin around, trying to find out who belonged to whom, (kids and grandkids), and who was related to who, and which was the oldest, the youngest and all that sort of things that a hubby should know about his Wife's relatives, but, given how many people there are in her family (remember, she comes from West Virginia, a million and a half people, 12 last names ROTFLOL-->YEA, I can joke about it, cause I am related now, guilt by association LOL, and also, I kept telling everyone, she married outside the family, cause she married some one from OHIO, instead of West Virginia-->NOW THATS HALARIOUS TO ME!!!).
I know, I got a twisted sense of humor, but, what can you expect from someone who worked at a WasteWater Treatment Plant for 25 years, I've just about heard it all ...

Ok, since the rocking chairs on the porch were taken by all the wimmin, I went onto the back porch and sat on one of those amish made benches that are on hinges and moves like a porch swing...(man of motion, and hate to sit still at times). I let the wimmin chat up a storm, gave the camera to my Wife so she could take pictures and then took a few more myself..(always looking for that 'one' picture that captures the moment of someone...Ive taken thousands of pictures of my Wife, but, I only have 'one' favorite that really 'is her'...if you know what I mean. Some people have that certain knack for capturing the moment (Brenda sure has it), while others have to develope it over time, and some, just have no notion of the moment at all and are satisfied with anything that comes out of the camera.
Thats why I tried to take as many pictures of everyone as I could, close ups, and various faces and ways of taking them, but, I havent looked at them to see if I had 'captured' any of them or not... Eventually, I shall have to look when I put them all on disc.

Everyone wanted to see our kids, (since my Daughter threw a tantrum and wanted to go to a hockey practise session, and my Wife took her against my opinion), so we told them we would be back the next day with the family.

Tuesday, we all get up and eat some left overs from yesterdays picnic food my Wife cooked, and 4:30 went back to Dave and Brendas house. (Notice I dont usually use names, but, since they will be moving to North Carolina shortly, I dont think they would mind, and I will miss them a whole lot!).
We take my Son and Daughter and everyone stayed til we all went home! My Son hung around Dave and myself, talking about his latest projects of making weapons he has seen on U-Tube Videos from a guy in California, and so, its his latest project. I am trying to get comfortable on the rocking chairs, (since I sat in the same one all the time I was there and wasnt about to move, cause the ladies were in and out, from front to back porches and inbetween.
Doris went swimming today! So, my Son was 'ahem' volunteered to help keep an eye on her, so she didnt drown in the pool...(Knew you would be dissapointed Nancy, so we made sure she would be safe with no worries). She seemed to have a Great Time, when she came out, she ate a klondike bar, with most of those who were left there. (By this time, everyone who came from here or there, got in thier cars to see the old 'stomping grounds' of where they grew up at, on the farm and how the territory still looked after all these years).
We listened to Doris and everyone still there, chit chat, bout old times, and just having a great time about it, then, everyone started to come back and we were ready to go.
Since they were leaving on Wednesday, (and I was 'supposed' to have an exercise session to go to), we wouldnt be there to say goodbyes, and we said them before we left.

That night, when everyone went to bed, well, I just couldnt resist a goooood long soak! Unfortunately, I got done at 3am, and didnt get to bed til 4am(just like tonight in fact!!!).
My Wife wasnt happy about it, and when she tried to get me up for the exercise session there was a no show that day!

Wednesday. Everyone got up before me again, cause my Son and Daughter had to work and Wife did something or other that kept her from the house for awhile. Doris was up and I got up and got on my computer as usual.
Doris went outside and said she was 'going on the porch'...by crackey, that woman, good thing she took her cane, cause I found her in the yard!! I know she cant walk in grass with out her cane, and I didnt know until I looked, so see if she had it or not, she did. Scared me half to death, if she would have fallen, and couldnt get up, and I would simply have to call 911 to get help, (cause I know she would have seriously injured herself if she did, and my Wife always accompony her out in the yard all the time to make sure she is safe!).
She sat on the swing, so I went back in, (Heat wave was in its second day, and I wasnt about to have her galloping about, in bare feet, on a hot porch or sidewalk for long). Lucky my Wife came and took care of her. Found out, she had gone to the store and now I had to go fill up the bird feeder...(they didnt get fed before I started to feed them munchkins, and my Wife acts like its a sin if I miss a day!! Sorry, but, Im one laxed guy, and going out everyday is not always in my routine). But, I buckle down and feed them, knowing it will be gone by the morning and I will have to do it all over again tomorrow. I did find out that she bought a small 10 pound bag, and had a 50 pound bag in the trunk, well, looks like my Son is going to have a job, carrying that puppy in to the yard, cause with my two canes, my hands are occupied ...

Thursday. I made it!! I went to exercise session today and the Physical Therapist, (who says she hasnt seen me since may), says that I look like I have lost a lot of weight around my belly!! Yeaaa Right!! Go snow someone else, sheesh! I know if those shorts that my Wife got me fit me or not, and none of them are loose yet, so, she is blowing smoke, and I just aint taking the bait. Now, if she would have said that my legs look thinner, I can see that myself, but fuggedaboutit when it comes to the belly.

Ok, this computer is messing up on me, cause I hit something (a key) and it just grew two sizes bigger, (the font).
Anyways, I come home and try to fight sleep for the rest of the day, (but end up taking a nap anyways, cause any type of physical exertion takes a toll on my weak heart. Yea, I hate that, but, the wimmin decide to go thier way, (apparently Doris bought a pair of shoes that she didnt try on at K-Mart and found they didnt fit when she got home, so had to take them back and look for a pair that did-->Ok, I forgot about that last night).

Now, I wait again, til everyone is in bed, so I can have that long soak for my back, and find out its been 2.5 hours again, and 3am when I am done, and now almost 4:15am, so if I even had any plans on trying to get another day of exercise in, its not going to be today!! Just aint no way to get enough sleep, and not wake up grouchy as an old bear.

Did take my sleep meds and am starting to see the computer in a strange way, (usually my eyes wont focus on the words and my fingers just roll over the keys while trying to type jibberish, but, not happening qute yet, since I am missing one of my meds-->ran out and didnt get it filled yet)...

So, may your days be long, and eventful...

May each Trial and Tribulation go your way...

May you learn something new today and each day....

And most of all, Keep the Faith!

I wish you well...

Jesse
