Looking for my real grandparents my dad was adopted in 1940

Posted 10-28-2008 at 06:17 PM by mizproper68

My dad was adopted in the 1940's by Una Mae Meier and William Meier, they lived in Ft Worth when they adopted him, from what I know is that my dad's mom was the daughter of a pastor of a church and everything back then was hush hush, I believe she was like 16 or so. I think it was a place called The Voleenters Of America, this was where he was adopted through or something. My dad's birthday is Sept 17th 1940. I don't know if the story is correct it is what I have heard, bits and pieces through the years. If you know anyone who had a baby but gave it up for adoption in the 1940's, please send me a message. My grandparents have probably passed on, but I would love to know me real family.
