Bank of America- no honor among thieves

I write this because I am sure there are others in my situation who may have experienced similar circumstances and I'd really like to know if this is widespread or an isolated incident.
I currently have a mortgage, which is in foreclosure, with Bank of America. I have gotten a portion of the money together 1250.00 which I took directly to the main branch and gave money orders to the bank rep. NOW 3 weeks later I contact bank about paying balance & I was told the initial $1250.00 I took to the bank has been lost ...it is my problem..late fees are still accruing daily and there is nothing they can do!! Yes, this is absolute madness!! For any bank to show such disinterest & indifference to customers who are trying hard to work their situation out, considering this industry holds much culpability for the predicament this country finds itself in, is absolutely amazing to me. They want me to try and track down the money orders I gave to them after I sat in her office and made out the money orders to Bank of America!!
So do tell, is anyone experiencing similarly vile actions from this bank or any other?

To many people involed you need to take action go to main branch and show to a manerager they are a great bank. ps money orders are tuff and traceable but it takes time. if this dosent work out your DA or Senetor or Congressman will get resuts
