The new guy.

So recently, well about a month ago in April I got a new kitten. ^_^ 7 1/2 weeeks old. I got him from craigslist dispite all the things I was told and I paid about 10 dollars for him. I realize that yes 7 1/2 is to young but i was tired of waiting for my very own cat and he was different. I read about him on craigslist a polydactyl kitten. He has about 20 toes all together and normally cats have 18 so i loved the fact that he had two extra toes making him a mitten polydactyl kitten. of course what helped seal the deal was that he was black but he has a little white on him and now a few weeks later a little fur underneath his chin looks almost burgandy.
I was told that his mother is a rag doll and the father was unknown. He really is something special too I really glad i choose him. I recently took him to the vet got him his kitten package and started on his shots. he was pretty unset about it but soon got over it. ^_^ he behaves very well with our two other cats and two other dogs and those who vist the house. well with that said He is my first cat. I own a dog already who i love very much but am sad to say that i don't have much knowledge about cats. only from what i learned from my sisters cats who aren't too happy with me.
What i would enjoy from you guys is some advice on cats and even stories on your own experinces with your cats. My cat who others told me i treat too much like a dog goes around runnning like crazy with the dogs and even chases after the squeeky toys i throw.
