This blog is basically to chart my progress in trying to lose weight...

This is a Record of my daily events including my family when appropriate for my other family members to see if they choose to.

This is my legacy, for my family to read after I am dead and burried. So, any thing on here is meant for them only and if it offends anyone, my apologies, but, its not meant for you and them

Chow for now...

May the LORD Bless all who see this.

I wish you well...

Today was a day of leisure, (but, what day 'isnt' a day of leisure when your retired? LOL)... I got up at 6am today! Everytime I do that, I know I will be taking a nap sometime during the day...
Now, I dont know if it was the 'Fruit Loops' (I dont know what they call them now, but they used to be called that, a 'cheerio' looking sugary cereal, with multi color-->and yea, I 'am' old, so that is one of the cereals that I remember the name from, though, I know that other companies make them now, and call them other things)... I had to take a 5 hour nap! I was exhausted and I got to wonder if maybe I should have my sugar tested or not, but, that will be someday in the future, when my Wife ever buys some test strips for her meter. She takes her pills and if she starts to feel a little bad, she will take an extra one or two, as needed (dont ask me how she does it, but, she knows her body enough to know what she needs).

My Wife was in the garden today, hoeing away, and I asked her, why not use a 'pitch fork'?? She gave me a look like I was a strick noobie LOL... Telling me that a pitch fork was for pitching hay! (What am I to know, I used it before when I dug up the garden, so, I know it works, but, I am the type to utilize anything that is within my reach, and utilizing it for another piece of equipment that I dont have handy... like a pair of channel locks for a hammer to put a tack in or screwdriver as a nail set LOL... and, a pitch fork to dig up dirt for a garden many years ago). I told her, we 'do' have that 'stone fork' (basically a pitch fork with one inch wide tines), that would be a good idea, since she nixed the idea of the pitch fork...she said she would think about it...so, that means another good idea shot down again... And this is what I get for trying to help ROTFLOL!!!

Those bing cherries are a deep dark red now! (yep, still a lot on the cherry tree). It seems like the birds would rather eat my bird food, instead of that, but, lately they are draining the entire bird feeder each day, instead of every other day! I reckon that we must be getting all of the rascals from everywhere around, to drain the thing that fast. But, I digress... For some reason, those cherries are NOT SWEET!! Yep, they are deep dark red, like you would buy in the store, but they have a 'tart' to them, and I am wondering if I should fertilize the tree, and if it will have any difference on the taste of the Cherries next year? Maybe when my Wife gets her garden in, I will spray under the tree with the Miracle Grow sprayer that I will put on the hose to fertilze her garden, and will see if that will help the cherry tree for next year??? I know, there are 'certain chemicals' that are needed to put on that varmit, but, I dont feel like going out to the store and shopping around for the correct thing, especially since I dont know if it will help out with the flavor or not, and if I will get the cherries next year, (still wondering why the birds have left them alone this year, it puzzles me, cause I have seen some robins eating the cherries on the other side of the street, they picked).

Tomorrow I have to go to my exercise session, (providing I feel good!)... Here is to hoping I can do all of them and it still helps me... I learned that a scout master that my Son used to have, dropped over dead the other day and they burried him yesterday!!! He was only two years older than I am...? I keep wondering, why is it, that everyone I know, drops over dead, and I keep going on and on and on? Is it the energiser bunny in my chest??? Quite possibly that I am 'familiar' with all my medical conditions, where all those 'healthy folks' dont know they have a problem, and just drop over dead of heart attacks and all that... He dropped over dead of natural causes.

Ok, Wife wants me to check my email to see if relatives wrote me back about thier plans for when your mom comes up, Nancy...so, I will do it now

I wish you well...

That is a Bing Cherry Tree... Planted two of them, but one died... so, this one really makes a lot of cherries, but, not sweet cherries, like you buy in the store?? hmmm
