Your family's holiday traditions!

The U.S. of A is a melting pot of cultures, people, and beliefs. When people immigrate to this country "legally" they adopt the existing American culture and then blend in their family traditions and recipes.
What do you remember most about the holidays? What Family traditions did you enjoy or have to endure... For a close friend of mine, it was green Jello at Thanksgiving that became a tradition. It was not set in stone but it did not feel like the holiday until they brought it out!
Doughnuts and burning leaves in the fall.
Half green/half yellow Easter eggs.
For my family... Independence Day was a huge shin-dig! A large table was set up outside in front of my mother's house (she lived on a corner and her house was in the middle) and everyone brought food, alcohol, and fireworks! It was a blast for everyone!
