Thoughts on the flooding and cleanup in the midwest..
Such terrible images of the devastation left in Iowa after the waters receded..Thousands of homes and belongings destroyed..Thousands and thousands of acres of corn and soy lost..I heard that many of the farmers were under contracts and will also owe for the failed crops..Now I hear that the flooding on down the Missippi will be worse than they expected..
I will continue to keep you folks in my prayers, and do what I can in donations which are being gathered here..
Prayer is like asking God for directions about what we can do phiysically to help out.

Thanks for your thoughts, Many up here in Wisconsin had to wait 2 weeks for waters to recede to check there homes. My town looks like a warzone with so many belongings that are flood ravaged waiting for garbage pickup.

It is so sad. There have been so many devastating natural disasters lately. My prayers join yours, and will be heard as a louder voice, blue.

I like that statement about prayer. Words combined with action. I've often thought how when we choose to help someone else out, random acts of kindness and all, that you never know when you might be an answer to someone else's prayer. The person you helped, or a mom praying for her child, a friend praying for a friend...
