Why do poloticians care if gay men and women get married or have a "commitment" ceremony. Why does it matter? Do we has homosexuals not have the same rights as heterosexuals? It just bothers me that if I'm with a man for 20 or so years and something happens to one of us who ever is left doesn't have a leagal right to anything we have built together. Isn't America the land of the free? Compaired to other countries yes but when you get right down to it its not

I happened to stumble across this blog while looking for an answer to my post about moving to NC. I'm a straight female and I just want you to know that I totally agree with everything you said. I feel that if you're lucky enough to find love in this world (and it's hard to find!!!), what does it matter if you're 2 men, 2 women, or a man and a woman? There's so much more things to worry about in this world than who is loving who. And in response to your other blog, I have no idea why it's hard to find a good relationship. I've been trying to figure that one out myself for god knows how long!!
