Another Day

My Wife went to help her Sister, put her Mother in Law, in the Nursing home today. She has Parkinson Disease and she refuses to take her medicines and hallucinates, seeing things that arent there, hearing things, and going nuts... (ya gotta feel for someone going through that, because it shows how fragile our bodies and minds are, and at any moment, something may happen to alter our sense of reallity, our perception of 'normalcy' if we contact certain diseases, or suffer simply from old age and dementia).
Blast these bodies are very fragile, when it comes to the various diseases and defects and unknown elements that can contribute to our worsening health and downfall.
I feel sorry for anyone going into a Nursing Home...Sure, they arent the 'hell holes' that are bygone in the yesteryears, but you still get some mean ol nurses aide or nurse, who is having a bad day, and they abuse a patient, just because they need to vent thier fustrations out, and it happens a lot more than some people will admit.
My wife, who worked in various Nursing Homes for over 18 years, always told me of this person or that person getting fired because they abused the patient, and those were the ones that got 'caught'!!
Its starting to get a wee bit warmer, here in the Eastern part of Ohio, finally!! I hope that the snow melts off my roof, and I dont have trouble with it, not like others who have a flat roof and have collapsed under the weight of the snow, this old house must be made of pretty stern stuff

Ok, back to my war game...I am single handedly going to take over a small alliance and have it assimilate into our small alliance, so we will be a wee bit bigger, and if they dont? Then I will single handedly wipe that alliance OUT!! So goes the way of the war game...
