Life is so short! I thought I would be posting my daily routine of playing the war game on evony, and my boring life at the computer each day, but, life throws you some interesting curves along the way....
My Cousin, and I were very close during childhood, we did a lot of things together, hiking in the woods, playing games and just growing up and having a great time with his family and mine. When we got older and started families, he and his wife introduced me to my wife! So, my life went on, and I had a family and he got divorced from her cousin, and went through two wives before settling with the third, and along with wife number two, had three children.
The last one, Eric was only born a wee before my oldest Son, and we found out this morning that he was found dead this morning at the family home. How it happened, is yet to be determined, because he was only 23 years old. Did his obesity have anything to do with it, is an unknown factor, or if any other condition was not discovered.
My Son is taking it pretty hard, because he was close to Eric, and we had visited on numerous occasion... How we found out, is that my Daughter was contacted by a cousin on Instant Messanger, and told, and I was told, when I woke up at 3:45pm today!! (Yes, I woke up that late, while only going to bed at 1:30am...I took three sleeping pills-->all prescribed to me, since I havent been sleeping well with only two of them, and if that third one keeps weigh on me, well, I have to deal with that eventualy).
I havent contacted my Cousin Dennis yet, but, I will later on this evening and inquire, and offer my condolences and see if there is anything we can do for them... (I even took his Wife at the time-->Mother of Eric down with me and my Wife, while we were having my Son!! Good thing to, cause they threw me out of the room-->something about upsetting my Wife, but I was making the monitors go nuts, cause every time my Wife had a contraction I tried the "LaMazze" thing with her and I would bust out laughing and she would too!! So, Carla would go in there with her, while I waited and got some sleep-->came off afternoon turn and didnt get sleep when her water broke) So as you can see, we have been close to my Cousins family for a very long time.
Why life throws curve balls at people is unknown to me.... Here I am, in the poorest of health, heart condition, asthma and all kinds of disabling things, wrong with me, but, every one I know or love, are dropping like flies, all around me!!
My buddies, both died of cancers, and the only one left has got some kinds of disorder where his body attacks him and he has to take an IV drip once a month to inject some kind of infection or something so that his body has something to work on, besides healthy tissues!
My family is doing ok for now, but, even they are wondering why those they know, are dead? (Course, my kids are young still and dont worry about death, until today... This is thier first opportunity to experience someone dying that is close to thier own age!! Now they know that dying is 'not an OLD PEOPLES Disease!!')
ERIC MOORE, you were given to us, but a short time, by GOD and HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, and you were taken so soon by those same wonderful Supreme Beings to be loved and cherrrished by, as you were while you were Earthbound, and I pray that you are in Heaven with them, and will reside forever in the House of the LORD. Amen.
