Carolina Cafe - Mt. Gallant Rd.

Posted 01-14-2010 at 11:02 AM by loulamb

Since the Varsity was closed for the holidays a few weeks ago, we decided to try the Carolina Cafe at 1204 Mt. Gallant, Rock Hill. It occupies the site of the original Little Cafe before they moved to Cherry Rd. and went downhill. Carolina Cafe is fairly small, with tables for 4 and a counter. For more than 4, they can join tables together, but only by the front window, so it's not a good place for groups. The food is prepared at the grill behind the counter, which I like. Had breakfast there and was very happy - and it's really inexpensive. Nice place, but still prefer the Varsity for their larger tables when 5 or 6 of us breakfast together.
