The purpose of the Environmental Sustainability Conference is to educate our business community, Orange County residents, and the emerging generation of leaders about the effects their choices have on the health of the environment.
Last year, this extremely successful event impacted 200 attendees through dynamic keynote speakers, phenomenal exhibitors and inspiring breakout speakers who concentrated on environmental innovation and creativity.
This year, the SIFE team desires to impact even more people in the community, hoping to create a more sustainable future.
Keynote speaker Martin Diedrich of Kean Coffee will present on how innovative ideas can be applied into business models and personal lives.
Jamie Welsh of 10% Solution will host a panel of environmental experts who will offer their green "know-how" and engage in audience questions
Attendees can also expect to experience two breakout sessions, an exhibition fair and a low-carbon lunch provided by Bon Appetit Management Company.
This event is put on by Vanguard University's local chapter of Students in Free Enterprise, an international non-profit organization that works in partnership with business and higher education. SIFE mobilizes students to discover their own potential by creating economic opportunity for others through community outreach projects. SIFE is active on 1,800 college and university campuses in 48 countries.
