last mistake?

ok so once again my grandparents dog got pregnant and my dog is the one who got her pregnant and so about 2 weeks ago she gave birth to 5 little puppies so now we have 5 chorkies. yorkie+chihuahua=chorkie and so now we have the task of watching over them and soon or later rehoming them. i am getting a cut of the money but i plan on using it to neuter my dog. i've heard good things about neutering my dog but still kind of scared of the actually thing.
so i was wondering if anyone who has had there dog tell me how it went for them and such so i know what to expect i plan on getting him neutered in feburary cause the pups should be 8 weeks old by then to rehome them and then use the money to neuter my dog. so please any info on the matter would be gratefull.
