Knightdale NC is located to the East of Raleigh NC Via Highway 64. Unlike Cary to the West of Raleigh which has seen a remarkable increase in population over the past 8 yrs. Knightdale NC has grown slowly leaving it to be the next area of exceptional growth. The home priceses in this area range from 100,000 to 400,000. But the mass majority of sales are between the 100,000 to 150,000. Knightdale NC gives a country hometown feel but offers shopping centers(Target, Office Max, Chilli's), Banking, Resturants, Industry etc. The slower rate of growth in Knightdale NC for the past 8 yrs was due to accesability. With Highway 64 beign the route to take one in an out from the city(Raleigh). Commuting was a bit of a hassel. 3 yrs ago that was resolved with the addition of I540 an connecter 264. One can get to Cary in 20mins an to RdU Airport in 20mins. An downtown Raleigh is a mear 10 mins. Overall the Triangle is a well thought out design in the making. Several mature Subdivisons, Mingo Creek, Planters Walk an Emerald Pointe an others offer nice homes at moderate priceses, but their are more on the horizion. Their is still alot of land in Knightdale for individuals or builders to take advantage of. If one is thinking of makeing the Triangle thier home, Knightdale would be a target not to overlook.
